Disability Needs Analysis

This spreadsheet will calculate the need, if any, for disability insurance. It is necessary to look at the effect of a disability on a financial plan, as a prolonged illness or accident could devastate the financial resources of most people. Provision is made in this spreadsheet template to take into account, liquid assets that could be used in the event of disability. This can allow for longer waiting periods to reduce the premium costs. The income of the spouse and other household income can be taken into account in the calculation of coverage required. All of the factors can be used, or negated, depending on the planner's wishes.
