Net Worth Statement

This is the basic tool for beginning a Financial Plan. It also provides the benchmark from which to monitor progress in the future. This sheet can be enlarged by you on a photocopier and given to the client to complete for the initial meeting. It has been designed to be very detailed so as to serve as a memory jogger. When this information is transferred to the spreadsheet it will show the percentage in each category as well as the ratio of assets to liabilities. This report should be updated each year and compared to the previous year. This will gauge the client's real progress for one year to the next.
