Accelerated Mortgage Amortization

This worksheet works like our popular amortization schedule, but also has a quick pay feature. This displays the earlier date to be paid off in years and months as well as the interest saved. To quickly illustrate the benefit of applying a tax refund to the mortgage all you need to do is type an amount beside the appropriate date in column A and you instantly see the reduced amortization period, the date the mortgage is paid off and the interest savings resulting from the extra deposit. Up to thirty years of bi-weekly payments can be illustrated.
